Just in case that my friends overseas visit my blog. Our family is safe as Tokyo never was really hit hard, so far. What is strange and sinister about these quakes is that seemingly the epicenters are shifting to South. Yesterday afternoon, the major first one attacked Tohoku, a northen part of the Mainland of Japan, then a while later in Ibaraki, a bit closer to Tokyo. After these, afterquakes are occring very frequently, and today, new quake (not a major one) occurrs in Nagano, the central part of Japan. We might be dealing with a cluster of quakes covering the wide area of Japan and I really hope that it would not lead to the Tokyo Major Quake, a hypothetical disaster that we are expected to have sooner or later, based on the periodicity of the quakes attacking Tokyo area. (the last one was in 1912, and we are supposed to have them every 7 years……
